You know you are the third child when...

1. Your mom rarely blogs about you

2. You climb up the stairs and your mom thinks it is cute and funny and sometimes doesn't even get you right away

3. You are still riding in your newborn car seat that you grew out of months ago

4. Most of the pictures of you are taken while you are in a stroller or in your car seat

5. There may or may not be video taken of your first crawl, your first roll over, your cute words, your adorable laugh

6. What nap schedule?

7. Your grandparents don't have any pictures of you

8. You have a large cheering section with commentary for everything you accomplish ("James is kneeling up mom! Good job James!")

9. Two teeth come in without your mom noticing

10. You get a fat lip from falling off a table while having your picture taken at your brother's preschool (fat lip picture will be taken as soon as poor third child wakes up from his nap)

In spite of all the "hardships" of being a third child, this little James is happy, silly, content, and a constant joy every day.

**Maybe this post should really be titled, "You know you are not a perfect mom when your child..."

James looks a lot like my Jackson. Those poor third children. It's a good thing they're so easy going.

I love all of the pictures you take. They are all gorgeous. The lighting, the poses, the angles, everything. I'm so jealous.

Oh Erika... James is growing up! I can't believe how he has changed. And crawling?! Wow, time is passing by. He is such a good baby. And adorable too. Hey, I'd like to write a book entitled "You know you are the 3rd and middle child when..." and list all my reasons why I (as the 3rd and middle child) need therapy. (my mom left me in the car on the day of my little brother's baby blessing and didn't notice until after the sacrament-thank goodness it was cool weather :):))

Erika, you ARE the perfect mother.
Love the crawling pic of James and all the words too. Can I copy and paste into my third's scrapbook? That's if he actually has one :)
